Installation for IGEL versions older than version 12
Follow these steps to install the DriveLock Linux Agent on your IGEL clients.
- Copy and extract the tar -xzf drivelock.tgz file on your Linux clients. It is included on the DriveLock ISO image.

The tar file contains the drivelockd-install.sh installation script.
Run this script with the parameter
-c
(see figure).See Installation parameters for more information.

Enter the following:
- Installation path: The default is the current working directory, but you can also specify a different path (in the figure
/home/test/igel_custom_partition
). - DES and port: Enter the server URL in the format '
https://<Server>:<Port>
' here. - Tenant: The default is
root
, but you can also specify a different tenant. -
Path and name for the user-defined IGEL OS partition files. By default, these files are created in the current working directory.
You do not need root rights for this process.

Once the script is finished, the IGEL OS partition files
drivelock.inf
unddrivelock.tar.bz2
are generated and located in the path specified in the above step. - Next, configure the UMS server.
