Global configuration

Starting with version 2025.1, the global configuration for agents can be partially configured in the DriveLock Operations Center (DOC) at the following location:

DOC -> Security Controls -> Agent settings -> Global settings

The settings can currently be configured in the General settings (including Logging, Agent remote control, Automatic update), Agent user interface, Self-service rules, and Network profiles areas (see topic links below).

You can define module-independent settings in the policy editor of the DriveLock Management Console (DMC) in the Global configuration node.

They apply to all agents that use this configuration (regardless of whether they were specified via GPO, centrally stored policy, or configuration file).

The following settings are available:

• General settings (e.g. for licenses) and configuration filters

• Agent user interface

• Server connections

• Certificates

• File storage

• Multilingual notification messages

• Self-service rules

• Networks
