Dashboards and widgets in the DOC
Dashboards and widgets are key elements of the DriveLock Operations Center (DOC). They provide a flexible, role-based way to present information from different areas such as inventory, security, or user management.
Using dashboards
Users can customize their dashboards individually: create their own dashboards, organize tabs, add or remove widgets, and adjust layout and ordering. These customizations apply only to the currently signed-in user.
Widgets in dashboards
Widgets display specific data based on a schema, such as computers, users, or events. They can be placed, moved, or configured on dashboards as needed. Widgets can also be used within object detail views.
Dashboard and widget management
Administrators can manage both built-in and created widget and dashboard definitions. This includes creating new widget definitions, copying built-in definitions, and providing dashboards or widgets to other users.
